Hometown Senior Living is an assisted living company that offers comfortable residential-style care to elderly clientele in the East Metro area. We have 7 locations throughout Woodbury, Eagan, Rosemount and Hudson. We have a maximum, company wide occupancy of 55 residents. This position will focus primarily on the training of staff to care for our residents and will assist in Case Management as well. The role of the Full Time RN is to ensure that the on-going training of all home care staff is completed in a timely manner. Primary terms & duties include, but not limited to: Assist with delegated nursing services, staff education & on call duties. Knowledge of and experience with dementia care a plus. Overall understanding of MDH Comprehensive Home Care/AL licensing regulations Knowledge of electronic healthcare records (ElderMark preferred). Shared on call/triage responsibilities Preferred Associate or Bachelor Degree Must be flexible with varied hours and availability Prefer someone with triage experience Excel at teaching/training both in the classroom and in a hands-on environment Must hold a current MN RN license You will be responsible to conduct Orientation for all new hire employees. The RN will ensure that staff is trained in nursing procedures and policies which are current and up to date. The RN will also ensure that the care services are in compliance with current regulations and standards. Must be able to relate professionally with clients and staff, display a positive work attitude and be able to work as a team with other staff members. Additional team support includes Home Managers, and Directors. You will be working and collaborating with our RN Case Manager/Lead RN This position will include an on call weekend rotation between the LPN/RN Staff Educator and the RN Case Manager/Lead RN . A current RN license in WI and MN is required. Job Type: Full-time
