POSITION: HOUSING DIRECTOR/LPN or RN COMPANY: Avalon Enhanced Care LOCATION: Minnetonka, MN COMMUNITY TYPE: Residential assisted living SALARY RANGE: $60k-$90k+/yr (DOE, Negotiable) SHIFT/HOURS: FT or PT, Days per week somewhat flexible. Occasional on-call may be required. SUMMARY: The Housing Director/LPN or RN supervises the delivery of services to residents/tenants by internal staff. This role is responsible for the overall management of operations and delivery of care services that includes scheduling, payroll management, reviewing and implementing protocols and procedures, recruiting new staff, disciplinary procedures and working to insure compliance with state and federal regulations and requirements. A background in Senior Care and/or Supervisory experience is absolutely necessary to be considered for this role. A passion for working with seniors in a residential environment is essential. Must have excellent leadership skills, professional boundaries and be able to effectively delegate duties and clearly identify roles and responsibilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Licensed by Minnesota Board of Nursing Previous Senior Care and/or Supervisory or Management experienced necessary · Must have a sensitivity and aptitude for working with the elderly and/or disabled persons. · Able to understand the needs of seniors and adapt as their needs change. -Excellent professional boundaries -Organization and delegation skills are essential -Experience with ventilator dependent patients ideal but not required -Knowledge of CADI and EW programs and reimbursement highly desired -Positive attitude with proven ability to find solutions and overcome obstacles · Possess skills to communicate effectively with those you may supervise or those to whom you report and with tenants and their families. Professional communication with staff, residents, families and potential residents is crucial · A familiarity and contacts with the social and supportive services in the community. · A minimum of 3 years experience working with the senior population. · Must pass a criminal background check consistent with the requirements of the State of MN Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
