Restorative Nursing Program Specialist

This is a temporary position through March 31, 2021. The Restorative Nursing Program Specialist is responsible for developing, leading and supporting the restorative nursing programming for the MN Restorative Nursing PIPP within Benedictine Health System. The Restorative Nursing PIPP program supports community nursing staff and leaders to ensure systems are developed and implemented to assist residents in achieving and maintaining the highest level of physical functioning. Responsibilities Develops and implements an effective and efficient program and systemic processes for Restorative Nursing Program in the skilled and AL communities to meet the 2-year PIPP Restorative Nursing program objectives. Restorative nursing program includes onboarding, training, integration of Senior Fit program solution, documentation, monitoring of program effectiveness and reporting of results. Manage a multi-community project with routine reporting to funding agency and BHS. Tasks include developing and implementing project timeline, meeting project mile markers at or under budget, developing and reporting project progress, notifying supervisor and other appropriate associates of barriers in the implementation of the project and assist with resolution. Build solid cross-functional relationships throughout the organization. Lead the on-boarding and ongoing support of restorative nursing associates in the communities. Systematic evaluation and improvement to restorative nursing program based upon analysis of data and use of quality improvement tools and techniques.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Current Minnesota state licensure as a Registered Nurse, which must be in good standing Certification as a Restorative Nurse/Gerontological Nurse, or willingness to obtain Three (3) years of RN experience Experience in Restorative Nursing Proven public speaking skills, ability to create tools and present presentations for multiple levels of staff
