St. John’s Lutheran Community is looking for a CEO/Administrator for our not-for-profit, faith-based organization. St. John’s offers skilled-nursing care, transitional care, independent living, assisted living and memory care services. St. John’s operates two campuses in Albert Lea, MN. The original community has been serving area seniors for 60 years, and the newer community located on Fountain Lake first opened its doors in 2016. We are proud that Albert Lea offers great outdoors and cultural events, an excellent school system, a diverse economy and easy access to regional events like professional sports and the Mall of America.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a current license in the State of Minnesota as a nursing home administrator. • It is preferred that the administrator has five (5) or more years of experience in skilled nursing care setting. • Competencies in healthcare operations, risk management and regulatory compliance. • Ability to create an environment that encourages teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, and the development of the team to work together to provide excellent care. • Strong desire to lead through and with others using interpersonal skills that promote employee engagement. • Must have the ability to respond and manage multiple responsibilities, challenges and emergencies as they arise. Must have the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a high stress environment.
