On April 9 – 10, 2008 Care Providers of Minnesota will
bring together Twin Cities leaders in the areas
of health care litigation, public relations, safety, insurance, and in the profession of
long-term care for a
conference addressing protection of residents, employees, and organizations.

Golf
Tournament
It’s an
election year and we’re celebrating our patriotism in grand ol’ style to benefit
the Care Providers of Minnesota
Foundation. The Foundation will host its annual golf tournament, A Salute to the
Red, White & Blue, on July 14 at
rystal Lake Golf Club in Lakeville. The Tournament is the Foundation’s major
fund-raising event for its many
scholarship programs. Last year, 23 scholarships totaling $34,500 were awarded by the
Foundation to individuals
working in long-term care and seeking to further their studies. The number of scholarship
applicants and the need
for qualified staff continue to grow. The Foundation’s ability to support the
educational growth and development of
our profession is contingent on funds raised through events like this tournament.
