LALD Mentor Directory

Are you pursuing a license as an Assisted Living Director and need a mentor?  

Care Providers of Minnesota has created a directory of members who are licensed Assisted Living Directors (LALDs) or licensed Health Service Executives (HSEs) through the Board of Examiners for Long-Term Services and Supports (BELTSS) and are willing to be a mentor to someone in the process of getting their LALD.

Although this directory is divided by regions to help you find a mentor in your area, a mentor does not have to be within a geographic area, a mentor needs to be someone that you can call on to assist and guide you through your process of learning and developing as director in the assisted living field for your success!  Mentoring may include in person, virtually, email, research, reading, etc. depending on your arrangement. 

This group of mentors has volunteered to be on this list, Care Providers of Minnesota does not keep track of their availability or whether there is a charge to their service.  Please reach out to one of the mentors below to arrange mentoring.  

The criteria for a mentor can be found in the BELTSS Rules 6400.7030.
