If you're looking for a career change with a company that offers internal advancement, join our team! The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementation and follow through of the nursing process. This includes systematic data collection, assessment, development of care plan, implementation of care plan and revision of plan. The Registered Nurse manages and supervises the care of residents through a well defined care delivery system. He/She also supervises other nursing personnel to assure quality outcome of care. AA/EOE Duties: Facilitate the Comprehensive Care Planning Process by collecting data about residents, assesses residents, applies knowledge to facilitate care planning, assists in development of care plan, implements care plan by assigning responsibility; uses standards of care and specific policies to perform nursing care duties for residents; ensures Safe Environment for Residents and Staff, follows proper infection control procedures, maintains safe clean environment in residents' rooms and facility, assures and participates in answering any and all call lights promptly and courteously. Supervises and manages LPN's and NA/R's, manages all staff when in charge of building; completes charting, collects, gathers and documents data, facilitates physician orders, initiates, reports and documents nursing orders; administers medications accurately, signs out medications and treatments, obtains and transcribes Physician Orders, documents PRN's.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Must have current registration, as a Registered Nurse, in the State of Minnesota. Must have successfully completed an approved School of Nursing. Must have successfully completed or seek certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and emergency care for the health care provider. Must possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing when directing the care of residents. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
