This position is working FT M-F 2pm-10:30pm on our TCU unit. The candidate must hold a current MN LPN license. Assists nursing personnel in maintaining accurate resident records according to State and Federal regulations. Maintains confidentiality of resident information. Acts as a representative of the nursing home by establishing good public relations. Responsible for monitoring resident behavior and scheduling resident appointments with other health services. Adheres to facility policy and procedures. Employee must be pleasant, respectful and courteous to residents, families, visitors and fellow employees at all times.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of approved vocational technical Health Unit Coordinator course. Dependable, responsible person that can organize and execute many delegated tasks. Some knowledge of nursing practices and medical terminology. Able to read and write with good spelling and the capability of expressing self easily. Able to adhere to detailed instruction. Must have good typing skills and good proofreading skills. Prefer computer experience with data entry. Patience and tact in dealing with residents, family and visitors. Ability to work under stressful conditions.
