The Minnesota Board of Executives of Long-Term Services and Supports (BELTSS) posted information regarding the May 1st opening for Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) and Health Service Executive (HSE) Renewals.

Per the BELTSS announcement:
  • Renewals will OPEN on May 1 at 8:00 AM
  • License Renewals can be completed beginning May 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026. It is strongly recommended to complete the renewal by May 31, 2026
  • Verify your personal information (mailing address, email and phone number) is accurate in the license portal
  • Verifying your employment for your license type is accurate. If you are an Administrator of Record (AOR) of a facility, or a Health Service Executives as a Director of Record (DOR), you must have an active license on July 1, 2026, and your facility should be listed under the AOR/DOR. Don’t assume this is accurate, please check your employment is listed accurately
  • Licenses renewed after June 30, 2026, are considered expired and will be subject to late fees
  • Administrators/Health Service Executives with more than one location must complete the Shared License renewal for each facility
  • Newly granted licenses will also have an expiration date of June 30, 2026, and must go through the renewal process

Member may find additional information on the BELTSS website.

If you are an LNHA or HSE and did not receive a notification, you should be sure to update your BELTSS profile.
