Shauna Kapsner has been working in long term care since 2007 with a focus in assisted living and sites caring for those living with dementia. Always wearing many hats she isn’t afraid to jump in and help where needed whether it’s: website design, health insurance renewals, working to integrate core values, restructuring a training program, quality improvement surveys & programs, payroll, grant writing, annual review of systems, AHCA quality award application writing, or working the floor. Shauna had the privilege of being the NCAL State Leader for Minnesota for 4 years and was a Board member of Care Providers of Minnesota for 6 years. She was an AHCA Senior Examiner for 2 years and a Master Examiner since 2019 for the Quality Award program. Shauna has assisted in coaching the Care Providers of Minnesota workshops for the Bronze and Silver awards. Quality systems and processes are truly a passion. She serves on the AHCA Board of Overseers to the Quality Award Program since 2021. Long term care is filled with learning opportunities and new experiences daily and Ms. Kapsner operates with the firm belief that ‘We can do better’… and we do.
