National Silver Quality Award Application Workshop

National Silver Quality Award Application Workshop
Care Providers of Minnesota presents a full-day SILVER Quality Award workshop to help you better understand the Silver Award application criteria, scoring, and strategies for a successful 2018 application submission. Workshop registration includes three follow-up virtual events. Workshop participants are eligible for a discounted consulting rate with Paul Grizzell, if additional coaching is desired.

In 2017, 100% of attendees who attended Care Providers of Minnesota’s workshop and submitted a Silver Quality Award application were awarded the Silver Quality Award!

This workshop is about more than an award; besides gaining a better understanding of what examiners are looking for and how to use the Award criteria as an improvement tool, you will learn how to use the award process to focus, align, and accelerate your performance excellence efforts—becoming a high-performing organization. For more information, read The Seven “Added Values” of the AHCA Quality Award Process

Who should attend?
Skilled nursing facility/nursing facility, assisted living, and campus setting members. The workshop is designed for key leaders to better understand how to accelerate their progress from the Bronze level to the Silver level of recognition. Suggested participants are Administrators or Executive Directors and Directors of Nursing or Directors of Home Care, along with other leadership team members—including owners. A team approach is the most effective method to develop your application in a manner that makes it your “management document,” and not just an award application.

While not focused on Gold Quality Award applications, those interested in submitting Gold Quality Award applications are welcome to attend.

Facilitator
Paul GrizzellCare Providers of Minnesota is delighted to once again partner with Paul Grizzell, President and Baldrige Coach of Core Values Partners, to present the Silver Award workshop (Paul was the facilitator at our very successful Bronze workshops in 2016 and 2017, and our equally successful Silver workshop in 2016)

Paul’s organization provides consulting services to organizations that are using the Baldrige Criteria–helping write applications and, in the process, helping organizations identify strengths and address opportunities for improvement. His mission statement is “…helping organizations focus, align, and accelerate their performance excellence efforts through effective use of the Baldrige Criteria.” (Click here for more information about quality award coaching.)

In addition to the expertise of Paul Grizzell, the workshop will be joined by some of Minnesota’s Silver and Gold Award Examiners.

Please review the eligibility requirements on pages 2–3 of the 2018 Silver Criteria and Application document in the Silver Application Packet to ensure you are eligible to apply.
