COVID-19 Update & Communicating with Stakeholders webinar

COVID-19 Update & Communicating with Stakeholders webinar
The Day at the Capitol webinar has changed to the "COVID-19 Update & Communicating with Stakeholders" webinar.

In lieu of the annual Day at the Capitol event, Care Providers of Minnesota will present a FREE, members-only webinar on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at 1:00 PM covering two topics: COVID-19 Update & Communicating with Stakeholders (including legislators).

First, we want to be sure you still receive the information we were going to share with you at our now-cancelled Day at the Capitol AND that you know how to virtually connect with your legislators during this challenging time. More importantly, we want you to receive the most current information on COVID-19, give you the opportunity to learn about best practices, respond to outstanding member questions, and give you guidance on how to talk about visitation restrictions and screenings to legislators, families, residents and other external visitors.
The webinar will be in TWO parts
  • Legislative updates including: 2020 legislative priorities (including funding requests for COVID-19) for long-term care providers & seniors and how to virtually connect with legislators
  • COVID-19 update including: the latest information on the pandemic, sample communication materials, answers to frequently asked questions, and responses to the latest MDH declaration.
Care Providers of Minnesota staff presenters
  • Patti Cullen, CAE, President/CEO
  • Toby Pearson, Vice President of Advocacy
  • Nicole Mattson, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives
  • Doug Beardsley, Vice President of Member Services

The webinar will be recorded and available to members on the Care Providers of Minnesota website.

DATE: Wednesday, March 18, 2020
TIME: 1:00 PM–2:30 PM CT
