It’s now or next year—Deadline to nominate is Friday, May 1

The deadline for nominating a valued staff member and/or volunteer is Friday, May 1st. So, no more procrastination--it's now or next year!
We have eight categories from which to choose:
- Caregiver of the Year award—honors a nursing aide who displays extraordinary skill in caring for individuals residing in a care setting.
- Dedicated Service award—celebrates longevity in the senior care profession by recognizing an employee whose service over the course of his/her career—a minimum of 20 years— has positively enhanced the quality of life for individuals in a care setting.
- Employee of the Year award—recognizes an employee for their contributions that have improved the quality of life for residents and/or enhanced the working environment for coworkers.
- Leader of the Year award—recognizes the achievements of an individual at the senior leadership level (administrator, executive director, housing manager) for their leadership contributions and skills.
- Nurse of the Year award—honors an RN/LPN who displays extraordinary nursing skills in caring for individuals residing in a care facility/senior care.
- Rising Star award—recognizes the contributions of an employee from any discipline, who is new to his/her profession (within the last 2 years) and has made an impact in his/her years of service.
- Up & Coming Leader of the Year award—recognizes an individual who is new to the leadership role (within the last 3 years) and whose actions show an extraordinary commitment to leadership and service.
- Volunteer of the Year award—recognizes a youth, adult, or group of volunteers who have made contributions to the quality of life for residents and/or the working environment for staff.

- Select the award category and fill out the text boxes
- Upload the supporting documents
You will be notified in early July regarding the status of your award nominee(s). If your nominee is selected, they will be presented with their award at our annual convention at the Mystic Lake Center, November 9-11, 2026. Photos/videos of the award recipient will also be posted on our social platforms, as well as highlighted in an upcoming ACTION article. So go start nominating!
