Float Social Services Coordinator

Position Summary: This position will support Social Service Departments and the Monarch Social Services Float Team. This will include creating and maintaining the Social Services float calendar in the absence of the social services staff. Coordinating coverage for facilities during absences including vacations, open positions, FMLA ect. The position will also provide support for new hires including assistance with onboarding and training schedule. This position is intended to educate, coordinate and consultation with the Social Services department and assigned regional skilled nursing facilities. Duties will include participating in mock survey, completing facility audits, coordination of needed coverage during vacations or openings and onboarding new staff. The position will also support the Executive Director of Social Services in assuring compliance and appropriate implementation of new company policies and procedures. Qualifications: A Minnesota license to practice social work is encouraged but not required. Must recognize and understand the psychosocial and emotional needs of residents. Position requires strong skills in communication, organization, management and leadership. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must qualify for employment after a criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
