Community Outreach Director

The Commons on Marice located in Eagan and Chandler Place Assisted Living located in St. Anthony are now hiring a Community Outreach Director who will split their time between both communities to increase overall occupancy and referral sources. The Community Outreach Director is responsible for increasing the amount of resident referrals both communities receive. In this position, you will work 2 days per week at Chandler Place Assisted Living and 3 days per week at The Commons on Marice.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Community Outreach Functions •Collaborate with Executive Directors, Marketing Directors, Admissions Coordinators and Regional Marketing Director in multiple Twin City locations to develop annual and quarterly networking plans to meet established resident referral goals. •Develop, maintain and improve community outreach efforts. Identify new and potential referral sources and strategies to educate. Target markets will include but are not limited to: senior housing providers, independent, assisted living and Alzheimer's providers, skilled nursing providers and hospitals, area support organizations, real estate professionals, clergy, social service organizations, trust officers, civic and professional organizations and internal resident population. •Participate in the planning and implementation of influencer events designed to drive referrals, enhance community awareness and recognition within the surrounding metro area. •Represent the facility at community and professional events to ensure the community is well-informed of the community capabilities and product offerings. •Collaborate with the Marketing Director, Executive Director and management team to establish effective public relations programs as needed. •Maintain weekly one-to-one contact goals to achieve the number of leads needed established by the Regional Sales and Marketing Director. •Prepare and produce quarterly marketing plans and execute plan while maintaining department budget •Plan and participate in all marketing events both inside and outside of the building. •Maintain relationship with residents through personal meetings or group functions. •Network with external agencies and facilitate positive relationships. •Serve as back up and support, as needed, for internal Director of Sales and Marketing position should need arise. Budget and Planning Functions •Assist in preparing and planning the department's budget and submit to the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing and Executive Director for review, recommendations, and approval. •Maintain current written records of department expenditures and ensure that adequate financial records and costs reports are submitted to the Executive Director upon request or as necessary. •Manage marketing inventory and stay within the projected budget at all times. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with management team and employees that promotes high levels of achievement, trust, morale and professionalism. •Prepares required reporting to Marketing Director and Corporate offices. •Reviews and strategize with Marketing Director and Executive Director on weekly basis to assure maximum networking and effective follow-up with target contacts. •Participates in daily managers meetings when necessary •Other duties as assigned Required Experience •Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University •Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in an Assisted Living and/or Skilled Nursing Home environment required •Prefer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Experience •Licensed Social Worker or L.P.N. /R.N. who has a minimum of 3 years sales experience in a directly related field
