Do you enjoy spending time with seniors? We are looking for Life Enrichment (Activities) and Facility Care Coordinators. This CNA/HHA support staff position is primarily responsible for planning and implementing resident activities and for ensuring and maintaining the household organization and cleanliness of Nurturing Care Residence. Additionally, this position may require you to provide assistance with personal care and designated health-related services designed to maintain the client’s physical and emotional well-being. This includes assisting clients with tasks of daily living and other services as may be delegated by the RN. Nurturing Care Residence is a small, private, residential care home. We are home to 6 seniors, some of whom are living with dementia. We are nestled in a quiet Minnetonka neighborhood surrounded by trees. We pride ourselves in maintaining a home-like atmosphere that focuses on the individual needs of our residents. Part-time Shifts: Monday - Friday 10am-6 pm with alternating weekends. Position Description and Skills: Understanding of Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias. Develop, plan and implement client activities. Encourage participation in activities by providing opportunities that allow for the use individual talents and skills. Maintain the overall organization and inventory of household supplies including groceries. Provide the administrator with the weekly grocery list. Help plan, schedule and ensure implementation and completion of regular and seasonal cleaning. Must be able to follow each resident's care plan and complete supporting documentation. Provide assistance with ADLs for each resident. Able to cook and complete light housekeeping tasks. May require medication administration training and assistance. JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School Graduate, HHA experience, CNA course completion & certification or Medical Assistant course completion. Background check clearance. Good health status and emotional stability. Must have current driver's license and valid insurance. Reliable transportation required, may be asked to drive clients. Able to meet and maintain on-going training requirements. Applicants must be highly compassionate with excellent communication skills, dependable, and organized with special attention to detail. Must be able to cook. Experience preferred. Must be available to start immediately.

JOB BENEFITS
Starting at $17.00/hr. plus depending upon experience.
