2017 Bronze Quality Award Application Workshop

2017 Bronze Quality Award Application Workshop
Begin your quality journey here! If your organization has thought about participating in the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) National Quality Award Program, now is your opportunity to complete your Bronze application from beginning to end in one day with coaching from experts.

The American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) National Quality Award Program provides a pathway for providers of long-term and post-acute care services to journey towards performance excellence. The program is based on the core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.

In this workshop, you will complete a Bronze Award application and learn how to use the AHCA/NCAL Quality Award program to support future Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) requirements (nursing facilities) and current Quality Management requirements (home care).

100% of the organizations that participated in last year's workshop—and submitted an application—received a Bronze Quality Award.

The Format
Paul GrizzellThis will be an interactive “hands-on” workshop led by Paul Grizzell, President at Core Values Partners. Paul is a national expert in areas such as the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living Awards, Baldrigebased performance excellence initiatives, Six Sigma, and Lean. Paul will lead workshop attendees through a series of brief AHCA/ NCAL videos, each followed by a more in-depth presentation of the requirements, followed by you or your team writing responses to each of the 21 criteria of the 2017 AHCA/NCAL Bronze Quality Award application.

Participants will also benefit from qualified AHCA/NCAL Quality Award examiners who will assist with Bronze applications. Learn more about the workshop and the examiners here
