Care Providers of Minnesota resident regulatory expert, Doug Beardsley, will go through the types of correction orders being issued by the Minnesota Department of Health under the comprehensive home health statutes. Information presented will go through the survey process and help providers identify potential behaviors or systems that might increase a home care provider's probability of receiving a correction order.

Doug Beardsley has been involved in the field of long-term care since 1982, when he became a nursing home administrator. Doug has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration. His experience includes 20 years as a nursing home administrator, 3 years as a long-term acute care hospital CEO, manager of an in-house LTC pharmacy, and other long-term care related activities. Mr. Beardsley has been the Vice President of Care Providers of Minnesota since 2005, where he is responsible for the regulatory activities pertaining to nursing homes, home care, housing with services, assisted living, and hospice, along with quality improvement initiatives.
