Joseph Townsend is a licensed nursing home facility administrator with over 30 years of experience in healthcare management and training. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Louisiana Board of Examiners of Nursing Facility Administrators (LABENFA), Mr. Townsend has distinguished himself nationally as a turnaround specialist for failing nursing home facilities. Mr. Townsend has become well known as a leading industry professional over the years through his seminar programs and the book, The Principles of Health Care Administration, which he co-authored with Winborn Davis.
